Contractors have begun the first phase of work, which includes resurfacing, local landscaping and lighting adjustments along pedestrian connections.
Daily routes have been prioritized
The project included areas that residents use every day on their way to schools, playgrounds and nearby transport. Representatives of the district say that it is precisely such short routes that have the greatest impact on the feeling of convenience and safety of the urban environment.
After completion of the main stage, it is planned to check the workload of the sites and, if necessary, expand the program for several more quarters.
